About Me
Katharyn Peterman is a Communications Associate with the American Institutes for Research.
Originally from Houston, Texas, she made her way to Colorado to attend Colorado School of Mines, where she completed her undergraduate degree in civil engineering.
After graduation, she attended Colorado State University to complete her master's in public communication and technology with a focus in science communication.
During her master's program, she discovered her love of breaking down complex ideas through the use of accessible language and storytelling, passions that drive her communications and design work today.
When Katharyn's not working, you can find her wandering through local trails with her dog, Emmy, and spending far too much time listening to podcasts.
